Any OpenAPI MCP Server
Overview
Any OpenAPI MCP Server is an MCP server that allows Claude to discover and call endpoints from any OpenAPI-described API. It uses semantic search over OpenAPI specifications and intelligently chunks large specs so they can be efficiently queried and executed, making it suitable for integrating private or complex APIs with Claude Desktop.
Features
-
Semantic search over OpenAPI endpoints
- Enables Claude to find relevant API operations using meaning-based (semantic) search rather than simple text matching.
- Helps discover appropriate endpoints in large or complex OpenAPI documents.
-
Support for large OpenAPI documents
- Intelligently chunks OpenAPI specifications so large specs can be processed and queried effectively.
- Designed to handle extensive or multi-service API documentation.
-
Endpoint discovery and invocation
- Allows Claude to discover available API endpoints from the OpenAPI spec.
- Provides built-in request execution so Claude can call discovered endpoints directly through the MCP server.
-
Customizable MCP server prefix
- Supports configuration of a custom prefix/name for the MCP server, allowing better organization or naming consistency in multi-server setups.
-
API-agnostic design
- Works with "any" OpenAPI-based API, including private or internal APIs.
- Suitable for integrating both public and private APIs with Claude Desktop via MCP.
-
Claude Desktop integration
- Designed to plug into Claude Desktop’s MCP tool system, enabling conversational access to APIs defined by OpenAPI.
-
Containerization and deployment support
- Includes a Dockerfile for container-based deployment.
- Python-based project (pyproject / requirements) for environment-based installation.
Pricing
